Terms and Conditions

Introduction

• These Terms and Conditions reflect the custom and practice of a legal contract for educational services. The Terms and Conditions are intended to promote the education and welfare of each student and the stability, forward-planning, proper resourcing and development of training institute.
• Our prospectus and website are not contractual documents. Please see the General Contractual Matters section below for further information.
• Managing Change: Shining Star Education Training LLC, as any other training institute, is likely to undergo a number of changes during the time your child is a student here.
• Documents referred to: Before accepting the offer of a place, parents and students receive a copy of the Training institute Handbook and the Fees List. Parents also have an opportunity, on request, to see any of the other documents referred to in these Terms and Conditions.



Admission and Entry to the Training institute

Registration and Admission: Applicants will be considered as candidates for admission and entry to the Training institute when the Registration/Admission Form has been completed and returned to us and the non-returnable Registration Fee paid. Admission will be subject to the availability of a place and the Student and Parents satisfying the admission requirements at the time. “Admission” occurs when Parents accept the offer of a place. “Entry” is the date when a student attends the Training institute for the first time under this contract.

Equal Treatment: The Training institute is for boys and girls aged from 3 – 17 years. The Training institute welcomes staff and children from many different ethnic groups, backgrounds and creeds.

Our Commitment: We will do all that is reasonable to safeguard and promote your child’s welfare and at least the standard required by law in the particular circumstances and often to a much higher standard. We will respect your child’s human rights and freedoms which must, however, be balanced with the lawful needs and rules of our Training institute community and the rights and freedoms of others.

Ethos: The ethos of this Training institute must be such as to foster good relationships between members of the staff, the students themselves and between members of the staff and students. Bullying, harassment, victimisation and discrimination will not be tolerated. The Training institute and its staff will act fairly in relation to the Student and Parents and we expect the same of the Student and Parents in relation to the Training institute.

Physical Contact: Parents give their consent to such physical contact as may accord with good practice and be appropriate and proper for teaching and instruction and for providing comfort to a student in distress or to maintain safety and good order, or in connection with the Student’s health and welfare. Parents also consent to their child participating in contact and non-contact sports and other activities as part of the normal Training institute and extra-curricular programme and acknowledge that while the Training institute will provide appropriate supervision the risk of injury cannot be eliminated.

Disclosures: Parents must, as soon as possible, disclose to the Training institute in confidence any known medical condition, health problem or allergy affecting the Student, any history of a learning difficulty on the part of the Student or any member of his/her immediate family, or any family circumstances or court order which might affect the Student’s welfare or happiness, or any concerns about the Student’s.

Communication with Parents: The Training institute will (unless otherwise notified) treat any communication from any person with parental responsibility as having been given on behalf of each such person unless other arrangements are made and any communication from the Training institute to any such person as having been made to each of them.

Photographs: It is the custom and practice of most independent training institute, and of this Training institute, to include some photographs or images of students in the Training institute’s promotional material such as the prospectus and website. We would not disclose the name or home address of a child without the Parents’ consent. Parents who do not want their child’s photograph or image to appear in any of the Training institute’s promotional material must make sure their child knows this and must write immediately to Training Institute requesting an acknowledgement of their letter.

Transport: Parents dropping their child in the Training center, please accompany your child and handover the child at the reception with the course instructor/teacher. Parents are not advised to drop the child in the ground floor, or in the parking area. Likewise, please come inside the center to pick the child after completion of course session. In case of parent who opt for transportation are requested to drop and pick up the child till designated transport. Please don’t allow the child unattended in the bust stop, office premises, apartment or residential area.

Course fees: A non-refundable registration fees, if applicable for the course, is mandatory for student’s enrolment. Fees are subject to change time to time. The student may not start the course unless the complete level fees has been paid in full.

Refund policy: Notice of Student’s withdrawal and application for course fee refund of the parent/guardian must be made in writing to the Institute administrator. Full level fees will be refunded if parent/guardian withdraws the child prior to the start of the level classes as scheduled except registration fees. If the student has commenced the course and if the parent/guardian opts for a withdrawal, then refund will be calculated based on the attendance and decision on the fund amount shall be made by the Shining Star Education Training LLC management. Management decision will be considered final.

Student’s Personal Property: Students are responsible for the security and safe use of all their personal property including money, mobile phones, locker keys, watches, computers, calculators, and for property lent to them by the Training institute.

Insurance: Parents are responsible for insurance of the Student’s personal property whilst at Training institute or on the way to and from Training institute or any Training institute-sponsored activity away from Training institute premises.

Liability: Unless negligent or guilty of some other wrongdoing causing injury, loss or damage, the Training institute does not accept responsibility for accidental injury or other loss caused to the Student or Parents or for loss or damage to property.
